The 3rd Annual
DETROIT ROMANIAN FESTIVAL
6 & 7 October 2007
 

MORE WILL BE REPORTED, but let me say “Thank You!” to the Chairmen, to every good soul who offered assistance toward the success of our Romanian Festival, and to those who attended. It was a huge project, undertaken by a very few, to help make our Orthodox Faith and our Parish Church better known as the "Cathedral" and "mother parish" of the Romanians in our community, and to generate needed funds.

Virtually all of our 1500+ guests enjoyed themselves. Many compliments were received, including from Nicoleta Petrin, one of the guest singers who has been to the major festivals in Chicago and elsewhere. She named ours’ as the finest! Another guest immediately added, “the best in America!”

WE APPRECIATED Bishop Irineu’s (and Hierodeacon Sebastian!) participation in our weekend Festival and, above all, having him celebrate the Divine Liturgy with us on Sunday. His Grace and Fr Sebastian have been with us for each of our 3 festivals. Intru multi ani, Stapane! 

We’re happy people were pleased. For us, it is best to simply and humbly thank God for blessing us with the desire and commitment to do good.
