Dear Friends:
On behalf of the executive board of Cathedral Senior AROY,
I’d like to welcome you to a fun and exciting year! We have
many honored AROY events in store for this year, as well as
new and exciting activities planned. Through the guidance of
our clergy, along with the long-standing tradition of this
special organization at the Cathedral, we know that our
endeavors will be well received and definitely worthwhile
for all who take part.
We have an important opportunity to remind our parish of the
significance and vitality of young people in the church, as
well as serve as role models for future generations. Since
the great majority of our current and potential members are
newer to the United States, please know that AROY remains
steadfast in its mission to promote fellowship among the
youth of our Episcopate as well as live and promote the
Orthodox Christian Faith and our Romanian heritage.
Come and make this wonderful group and our Cathedral parish

We are happy to welcome you to
the official web-site of Cathedral Senior AROY, a chapter of The
American Romanian Orthodox Youth organization. Our chapter is part of
Saint George Romanian Orthodox Cathedral, and represents Romanian
Orthodox Young Adults (roughly ages 21-35 years old) from around greater
Detroit. We exist to promote friendships, social activities, cultural
awareness, spiritual growth, and community service, all facilitated
through an Orthodox Christian environment. New members are always
welcome, so we encourage you to visit St George Cathedral and invite you
to join us!
